Next stop: Blueberries!
Get out your passports, for this mob we will be crossing the Savannah River into South Carolina. Destination is the Brant Family Farm near the historic town of Gillisonville in Jasper County. Departure date is Saturday May 21st. Travel time: under an hour.
Susan and Don Brant grow a host of fresh, organic produce on 3 acres amidst the scenic 180 acres that make up the property. Among that produce is an abundance of blueberries – and the season is upon us. At the Brants’ we will string tomatoes, hoe and weed (of course) and pick blueberries. Sound idyllic? It will be. Think lemonade as you imagine it.
Sign up quick – the word is out, our little mob is no longer a secret. Attention farmers: If you want a mob at your place, best way to guarantee it is to join us on another farmer’s mob. June is wide open – mob for blueberries and your farm could be next.
