SpeakEasy Surprises

Hey guys! Just a quick update and a fun surprise. Update first: Farmstead 303 is remodeling and changing their name to Rails Cafe & Bar. In fact, they’re closed to the public all this week but are opening up just for us! So don’t be dissuaded by anything that looks like construction or being closed – we’re still havin’ a time in there! (Just in case the sign is gone, the building is an old train depot…so it’s the one directly next to the railroad tracks that looks like a train depot. Helpful?) The full menu won’t be available, but plenty of appetizers and small plates – in fact we might get to play guinea pig for some of their new menu items, so speak up if you like anything a whole bunch!

Aaaaand, we’ve got an exciting surprise! The Kansas-based bluegrass/folk/Americana/gypsy jazz/all kinds of craziness band Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy will be coming to play a few tunes for us around 9! So We’ll get together for an eat and chat from 7-9 and then rock out a bit! I mean, how much more appropriate could it be to have Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy at the Crop Mob SpeakEasy? It’s serendipity. It’s fate. It’s gonna be a heck of a lot of fun.

See you there!
